Junior Batabano

Introduced in 2002, Junior Batabano is a family-friendly celebration of Cayman’s youth featuring a vibrant parade with costumes inspired by Caribbean and Caymanian culture.  The event includes fun activities, live entertainment, and delicious food, while promoting the preservation of cultural traditions for future generations.

This year’s parade theme is “Island Hopping:  Visit the islands through the eyes of Junior Batabano.”

The Family Fun Day activities kick off at 3pm from Cardinal Avenue in the heart of George Town and ends at 7pm. The parade starts at 4pm from the same location and circles around town, returning back to the Cardinal Avenue where the junior masqueraders cross the stage and perform choreographed dances to the delight of judges, friends, and family as they compete for coveted awards,

The Teen Jam will starts at 7pm and ends at 11pm.
