For one day out of the year, the entire sky above Kaibo Beach is filled with color. Brilliant shades of the rainbow fly through the sky during the Kitefest at Kaibo. If you’re lucky enough to be in Grand Cayman during Easter, make sure you make it over to Cayman Kai for this brilliant event!
Cayman Kitefest is part of Kaibo’s vision to celebrate Caymanian culture and support the community. An age-old island custom, the Caribbean tradition of kite flying on the island’s breezy shores costs little and is environmentally friendly.
Bring your own kite, make one at home or buy one at Kaibo. Competition entry fee is CI$10 and proceeds go to One Dog at a Time.
here will be a DJ and lots of prizes on the day. Kites will be for sale in advance from the ODAAT shop and also on the day at Kaibo.
