Partial Solar Eclipse

Join the CIAS to safely view the partial solar eclipse at Camana Bay, near the cinema.
Volunteers will be there to help explain the event, and they will have a telescopic projection system set up to view the event safely.
The maximum coverage will be at 1.49pm. Nevertheless, the Earth’s shadow will cover part of the sun from 12.40pm to 2.55pm.
In the Cayman Islands, the eclipse will not be total, yet it will be total for some other parts of the world. The CIAS will also have members live streaming the event from the totality zone in Texas, so watch out for the link!
