DESCRIPTION:The Cayman Islands Triathlon is one of the Cayman Islands’ premier annual sporting events that attracts a strong field of local and international competitors\, as well as keen amateurs and spectators. Organized by the Cayman Islands Triathlon Association\, the event is held at Public Beach\, along Cayman’s world-famous Seven Mile Beach. \nAthletes have a choice of 2 race distances: \n\nSprint Triathlon: 750m swim\, 12.4 mile bike\, 3.1 mile run\nOlympic Distance: 1500m swim\, 24.8 mile bike\, 6.2 mile run\n\nIndividual\, 2 or 3 person relay team entry options for the Olympic distance. \nThere are few better places in the world to host a triathlon than the Cayman Islands. Triathletes delight in our great weather\, clear and warm waters\, good roads for cycling and running and the multitude of activities that athletes and their families can enjoy during their post-race vacation. See you on the course!
